Hyperscale.

Sixty-nine thousand fiber strands. Active-aisle execution. Zero re-pulls — one of our most fiber-dense commercial deployments.

Commercial / Data CenterReno, NVFirm Fixed Price

[ Overview ]

Walker delivered the fiber backbone, horizontal cabling, and rack-and-stack for a hyperscale commercial data center in Reno — every strand tested, every label audited, every termination certified. Sequenced in active aisles without interrupting adjacent compute.

[ Scope of Work ]

  • Fiber BackboneSixty-nine thousand, one hundred and twenty strands of fiber — pulled, terminated, certified, and cross-connected across the spine-leaf fabric. OS2 single-mode for backbone, OM4 multimode for horizontal where appropriate.

  • Horizontal & PatchCat 6A horizontal where copper made sense, patch panel assemblies tested per port, label scheme coordinated with the operator’s asset database before the first strand was pulled.

  • Rack & StackHardware deployment alongside the cabling work — racks unboxed and aligned, equipment seated, power and fabric integrated, and every rack signed off before the door closed.

  • Active-Aisle SequencingWork executed without disrupting adjacent production compute. Sequenced against the operator’s change windows; every cut planned, every termination tested under live conditions.
